Hi Stacy,

My 3 year old is going through a whiny phase. When he starts I tell him that it is not acceptable to whine and I tell him to tell me what he wanted in a big boy voice making him repeat whatever it was he said or wanted in a normal voice before I respond or help him.

I tell my 25 month old that I cannot understand him when he whines and I tell him to ask nicely.
