What do I do when my daughter gets an online boyfriend?

My daughter, Kayleigh, has recently informed me that she’s got a boyfriend. Now, I’m perfectly fine with that- she’s fifteen, so as long as they aren’t doing the hanky panky I think it’s normal. However, she says he’s an “online boyfriend”. At first I thought it was like Episode, but she then explained it’s a guy she met on Roblox. She says they’ve known each other a while now, that they’ve called a couple times, etc, and now that he’s finally divorced his wife of twelve years they can be together. I was confused about what that meant, and she told me he’s 54, a pastor, his name is Dave, and he lives in Minnesota. She also says that he likes to ask her for photos of her feet. I find this extremely odd behavior, how do I put my foot down?

On February 2, 2024, you wrote, “My youngest daughter, Kayleigh, who’s currently seven years old…” Now, 2 months later you write that she is 15? Sure. Okay.
