We need to replace our roof and I am trying to choose between Excel and CJ Roofing. They are both A+ rated by the BBB, so I am looking for stories from people with personal experience using either company. Any issues, comments, suggestions, etc.?

I am sorry I don't have any expirence with these companies but be sure to get the expected work completion date in writing. I started the process of replacing our roof in August, and was given October as the completion date, then November, and now end of the December. I am about ready to drop them so I am intrested in reading the other responses.

I didn't hear good things about Excel from the neighbors. CJ, never heard of 'em. We used Brickey and were very happy. 1derful (wonderful) isn't.
We had our garage roof redone recently, and while we ultimately went with a roofer who was much cheaper, CJ Roofing came out to do the estimate, they were on time, cordial, and I think did a good job building the estimate. If it wasn't just for my garage and was for my whole house, I would've used 'em! Good luck!
