We are planning to put a skylight in the kitchen. What is your experience with skylights? Do they leak?How do you protect them during hurricanes for example? thanks in advance.
I don't have one but I watch HGTV alot and they show Sun Tubes and they look really cool, and are supposedly less expensive. They have mirrors built in that reflect sunlight into the room they seem like really low maintenance. I would like to try, but we have a tile roof and I think it would be complicated.
