I am wanting to make my own hair bows. Where are there wholesale or market type place to buy ribbon, different style headbands, ostrich curl, flowers, and some bling bling that I see on some bows. I have acomplished to sew blankets, burp cloths, and bibs and make diaper cakes and am wanting to extend my list of things to possibly start up my own business in the future. Thanks mommas!
I would check out Hobby Lobby and possibly fabric stores like JoAnn's. I know even Wal-Mart carries ribbon, rhinestones, etc. Hope this helps. I love doing that kind of stuff :)
Watch for the Hobby Lobby 1/2 price sale on ribbon; it's $1 a roll on sale. Also shop for supplies on www.etsy.com, you can find could deals there.
I make bows as well and the cheapest ribbon I have found is Hobby Lobby. They always have a 50% sale. Also, if you will wait till after a holiday then go stock up on the holiday ribbon and you will have it for next year.
Also, the cheap place to get the hair clips is Sally Beauty Supply.
In My opinion, Joanns, Michaels, and Hancocks are both way more expensive on the ribbon.
Michaels had some ribbon for $4.99 a roll and I saw they same one at Hobby Lobby for $3.99 and it was 50% on top of that. Good Luck
