We are looking for an occasional babysitter for our two year old daughter. She is extremely easy going and friendly. She loves everyone almost instantly! She usually goes to bed around 7 or 8, so it's easy money for you!
We would want someone to come to our house, and sometimes stay as late as 1 or 2. Their own transportation is a plus. We don't mind if if another child needs to be brought along--we would have plently of toys and space, but they must be able to pay attention to our daughter, too. Both my husband and I have family in the area that would love to watch her, but we don't want to take advantage of them! We just want to have a backup sitter in case our family can't watch her.
Let me know if you know of anyone who might be interested!!
I would try sitter city.
We found a wonderful sitter there for my son.
Same situation, we have family close but didn't want to always call on them.
After I placed my ad on sitter city I went through all the applications, met with the few I liked outside the home at a local coffee shop then if I liked them I set up a date for them to come and play with my son while my husband and I were home. So I could see how she was and my son could know that she was ok. They came over for about an hour and a half and I let them play while I did things in the other room.
My daughter just turned 20 and has lots of experience- plus her own car for now... we livein Cary so I am not sure of your location... I do know she is already booked overnight on New Years (Not by me..lol.) People often get her in advance because she is so good with kids
What area do you live in? I live in Lake In The Hills. I am a stay at home mom who is really looking for ways to earn extra cash. I have 2 girls 3 and 1. I could bring along my 3yr.old or leave her home with her dad and I could come alone. I have a bachelors in child development. Just e-mail if interested.
Hi Michelle, I live in Wheaton and would be interested in babysitting for a little extra cash. I have a Bachelors in education, and while I currently don't teach, I do miss the kiddies! I have a one and a half year old son too, but would not have to bring him along. I have reference available too:-) Let me know if you're interested.
