Seeking input regarding Language Stars classes in Lincoln Park

My daughter will be 14 months on 9/12/09. Has anyone enrolled their child around this age at Language Stars (Spanish classes)? If so, what has your experience been?

Thank you.

My three year old has been attending since she was 20 months old. She did parents and tots with my husband and then the kids only for three hours for the summer and will do the 85 minutes class during the school year. My husband's first language is Spanish so my daughter is exposed to it at home. She understands everything said to her, but was reluctant to speak it so we decided to enroll her at Language Stars. Her expressive skills immediately improved. It is an immersion program which we really like and all of the teachers are native speakers. All of the staff are very warm and encouraging. We were going to enroll our 13 month old too for the fall, but decided since she is exposed to Spanish at home to wait until she was speaking more so she would be able to actively participate instead of passively listening.

We used to go to Language Stars but now go to Multilingual Chicago. It is right on par with LS but is half the price. Plus when you child is old enough to take classes on her own, they have a great little area with free coffee, tea and wi-fi. It is located on Milwaukee Avenue around the 2900 block I think (I am terrible with directions) Good luck
