Hi Moms.
We are planning on taking a short 4 day trip to either San Diego or Myrtle Beach at the end of February. We will be taking our son, who will be 10 months old when we go. If we got to San Diego, we definitely want to go to sea world and the zoo. I haven't done that much research yet on Myrtle Beach. Is there alot to do? Where should we stay in either of the cities? Thanks in advance.
i don't know about either location, but I DO know that my kids don't do time changes very well and when my son was 8 months old we took him to California for a few days. It was totally lame - he was ready for bed at 5:30 local time, and wanted to wake up at 4 AM!! Going east is much easier - so they go to bed a little later and sleep a little later. At least you can still go out to dinner! Anyway, just something to consider.
I have been to both and Myrtle Beach seems more like a party town. In San Diego there's lots more to see and do. The San Diego Zoo is great as well as Sea World. There is also Legoland about a 1/2 hr away.
I'm not too sure about where to stay in San Diego we lived only 2 hrs away and drove back home.
And I don't remember where I stayed in Myrtle Beach.
Weather wise and in terms of the town I would go to San Diego!! My only hesitation is that plane ride and the time changes.
