Okay moms...I am planning on anouncing on New Years we are expecting #2....FINALLY! Sooo, I have a photo of my pregnancy test (which was digital) so it shows up clearly and I have planned to print a few and give in cards. I wanted to get some opinion on what to say or cute sayings I can put in them. ANY and all opinions would be helpful! Thanks ladies in advance :)
When we were expecting #2 we wrote "I'm gonna be a big sister" on my daughters diaper and then had my Mother-in-law change her. You could write that in your card along with the picture of the test. Or something like "Guess who's gonna be a big sister?" Or something like, "My New Years resolution is to think positive." THat would really go well with the picture of the positive pregnancy test.
In line with the other idea, you could put something like, "My New Year's Resolution is to gain 25 pounds." Or you could think of other baby-related things to put as your "resolution."
As we begin a bright New Year
Our hearts are filled with Joy and Cheer
Expecting now a loved New One
Another daughter, or a son!
Congrats!!! I think it would be really cute to have your daughter hold up a sign that says I'm gonna be a big sister and put that on the front of the card!
Hi Jennifer,
Congrats! I can't really help with your pregnancy announcement but I do have a really cool suggestion for birth announcements...Go to Wrappedhersheys.com they have great birth announcements that you can even add pictures to. I loved them so much I now get them for each of my daughter's birthdays.
Have a great day!

I made a white tee-shirt for my son that said "I'm gonna be a big brother" and on the back "coming soon: Aug 2009" and put it under my son's sweatshirt and when he got REALLY dirty at Christmas dinner last year (forgot the bib...bummer :-P), I had my MIL clean him up and then told her to just take off his sweatshirt and I'd get him a new one (it took her a bit...lots of complaining and saying "but this one is fine...I can clean it up with water for you" until I finally just said, "MOM! Just take it off!!! I REALLY want him in something else...then she got the point that there was SOMETHING else I was trying to hint at...) It was fun and a fun thing to put in my older son's keep box too!
