Mini van car rental suggestion in Orlando

Hey all, We've got a Disney trip coming up. Air and time share are reserved, but we are having trouble finding a reasonable mini van rental. The cheapest I've found is just under $500 for the week and rates go as high as $830! Anyone have any suggestions on where to look? We have 3 kids, so we will need to rent 2 toddler car seats and will bring one booster. We need a car that can fit all those and lots of bags. Thanks for your help!

I am in Orlando right now, just got here yesterday. I also found minivan s(reallly ALL cars) rentals to be crazy expensive. But we got lucky. Find the best price you can live with and book it (I had one reserved with Budget - no credit card needed for the reservation) Monday I put a bid in on Priceline for $30/day (total around $245 for 7 days) and it got turned down. But you can make another bid 2 days later (which also put us to like 2 days before our arrival date) and I bid the $30 again and it was accepted. We got our minivan from National and we're driving a Sienna. Other than the price we didn't do one thing diffrently than any body else renting yesterday - we had our choice of all the minivans National had. I really think bidding so close to our arrival date helped since the companies have a good idea of what their inventory is at that point. Good luck!

check rent a wreck. It sounds bad but it's not. They aren't the latest models and might have a few cosmetic issues. The cars are safe to drive. My husband rents from rent a wreck for business. They aren't pretty but they are safe and get the job done. Also, I recommend taking your toddler seats with you. I would never use the ones from any rental place because you don't know if they have ever been in an accident.
