Does any other CDing mother out there know where to buy Calgon and RLR in Kansas City. My diapers and inserts are soooooo stinky. Unbearable. I can order them online, but I feel guilty for using sposies until they come.
Not sure about the Calgon or RLR, but you could contact Happy Bottomus. They are a natural baby/parenting store in Lee's Summit. If you call Brookie Lee, the owner, she is VERY knowledgeable about CD. If they don't carry it, I'm sure she has something else for you or knows where to get it. Good luck!
My best cure for a case of the stinkies was soaking overnight in the washer in a full load of borax or washing soda water (or some of both) and then washing once in the morning with a small amount of detergent. After the diapers are dry, you can also hang them outside for a several hours for additional freshness. I hope something helps soon!
