Is it unlawful for a landlord to file 2 eviction notices in the same month

I worked for a property manager . A work despute would arise. To whitch could result to me to no longer work for property manager/landlord of the home I'm renting .  I would be threatened with rent increase and or eviction . Not much choice but to continue work for them . This has happened numerous times . That has caused rent being raised first time $25.00 a month that took place after work despute second time it was in creased another 25.00 a month again after work despute . Now 2 months later its increased 100.00 a month . At that point I decided not to work for him any more . Because I feel that I have been pushed and him demanding more from me to a point i lost sence of myself lost sence of not only my own wants and needs I lost sence of my families wants and needs as well . I understand that rent and things go up through time . Although they claim to provide affordable housing although they doubled my rent as soon as taking position of the property then rent increased after every work dispute . Now Property manager/landlord refusing to collect rent in same manner as he had since taking ownership of property . I was informed by him to read the lease it says where to mail it to . So June's rent was mailed and recived by landlord /property manager . I continued to do a few odd jobs for him . Although every time I would say I didn't have time or no I couldn't do what he was needing done his reply was remember to pay rent on time to avoid late fees . So made it a point to make sure the money order and post marked and mailed before the 8 th of July to same address I had mailed June's rent . Now they are saying they never received the rent . I feel all of this is done out of retaliation and think he has planed this . My reason for thinking this is because every time I would refuse to do work for him the rent was brought up by him . I've been renting the place for almost 8 years and never have had a problem with rent no late rent nor have I missed a rent payment . But since the work dispute he has tried to make it as rough as he can on my family and myself . But I continued to what I was suppose to I paid rent even though it was hard from all the rent increases . Went to government building department of human services and asked what I should do . I was informed by a sheriff not to stop payment on the rent money order due to the fact they could say he even stopped payment on rent money order . I was served a 3 day notice on the 15 th day of July and an eviction was filed on the 23 rd day of July . Then another 3 day notice on the 25th day of July . Seems that Mr. Miller harassing me to see me loose my composure to damage my case against him . Called the police to protect myself from Mr. Miller's bullying .
