i need an overnight/live-in petsitter june 28

my usual dog sitter called me just now with a dilemma. her dad can take her to london, but ONLY with them arriving back home on june 29. she had already agreed to dog sit for me june 28 to july 3, so she was basically calling to ask my permission. i just couldn't tell her no, she sounded so excited. so, we are leaving early in the morning on june 28 and megan will be home late afternoon on june 29. i either need someone saturday morning to sunday afternoon OR if someone wants to just take the full june 28 to july 3 that would be fine too. anyone know of anyone?

we have a doberman, a beagle, and two miniature pinschers. they are all indoor dogs.

one last thing, we live in denton...

Post a "Job" with the career services department at TWU. I work at TWU and over the years several of my more responsible students have stayed at our house to house-and dog-sit. Call them at 898-2950. Or you can post a flier on the free speech board on the west side of the student union building.

If not, there are professional services in Denton. I'm sure you could find a reliable person.

I know of someone that might be able to. Send me and I can try and connect you with her. She lives in Denton also.

check out www.allcrittersitter.com They are great! Tell them Kara sent you!

Goggle petsitters international and then put in your zip code and it will give you a list of bonded and insured pet sitters in your area.

I would love to dog sit June 28 and even June 29th. I have a dog of my own, and I have experience with numerous dogs. My step-dad is a dog trainer at Pets-mart in Denton, Texas so I learned a thing or two from him. June 16 I turn 18, if age is a concern. If you are interested call me on my cell phone at 940-632-7778. Or email me at [email protected]. Your preference. I hope to hear from you.

Well, we decided to cancel our vacation. Our beagle was VERY sick all week last week, still not sure what happened to her(the vet suspects some type of poison), but she’s an indoor dog and she spent all day at the vet Monday through Friday, coming home with her IV and injections in the evenings. She FINALLY began to eat again Friday night and we are for the first time hopeful that she will pull through this. My husband and I decided it’s probably best for us to just skip this vacation and focus on her continuing recovery. There will be other vacations! I would still love to have some people to call and interview for future trips as our usual sitter will be moving in August :frowning:
