Can anyone recommend a good spot to look for a First Communion veil in the western burbs? Or the Schaumburg area?
There's Morning Star in downtown Lombard (right on St. Charles Road, one block W. of Main Street) and Wheaton Religious in downtown Wheaton, just across the street from the big fountain by the tracks. Usually it's customary that the girl wears her mom's veil if it's available. That's always a nice touch. Both of those stores will have something available, or check e-bay for veils, but I really love both of those shops for any kind of Catholic gifts, they're great shops. Congrats to your little girls!

Last year Burlington Coat factory had really nice dresses and veils for a good price. I bought one of the dresses for my daughter as a flower girl and the dress was only $25. And you couldn't tell it didn't come from a bridal shop.
