Eye cream for dark circles?

Hi mamas. I am 30 years old and too young to have my eyes look like this!! I've been having thyroid problems for the last several months after having my 3rd baby. This has led to insomnia off and on...mostly on. Also, because I have been in a "hyper" thyroid phase, my eyes have been somewhat "bulgy". Anyway...I have bags under my eyes now!! I was wondering if any of you could recommend a cream or concealer or something to help. I'm not interested in you trying to sell me anything though...unless you KNOW through experience that it really really works. I'm not a make-up type of girl, so the lightest, easiest products are best. Thanks!

I love boi-ing, industrial-strength concealer, made by Benefits Cosmetics. I really feel like it takes care of my dark circles.

Alexis,
Good Morning! I am a Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay Cosmetics and we have a wonderful product that I highly recommend, Timewise Eye Revializer. Its formulated to address the multiple causes of dark circles and under-eye puffiness. I would love to get together with you and have you try it. All off our products are 100% satisfaction guaranteed. If you were to purchase any of our products and aren't satisfied. You can return it to me and I will exchange it for another product or give you your money back. You will never have a junk drawer of MK cosmetics. Please message or email me if you are interested.

Pink Hugs,
Cassie

I know the feeling. Three kids and thyroid issues here too...mine is hypo though. I LOVE Erase Paste by benefit sold at Sephora. It is made to brighten and camouflage your eyes and face. I just use a little dab on my eyes whenever I wear make-up and it does brighten up my entire face. The cool thing is that you can go to Sephora and get a free facial, tell them that you want to try that when they make you up. :-) The small jar will last you about a year.

While at Sephora ask them to put some mineral concealer under your eyes. I use Bare Minerals concealer. It is not a liquid or paste, it is minerals and I have found that it really brightens my dark circles and does not cake. They also have it at Ulta or Northpark Mall has a BareEcentuals store.

Alexis!

I am an independent consultant for Arbonne International. We are a botanically based skin care, health and wellness company. Our products are ph correct, hypoallergenic, never tested on animals, dermatologist tested, contains no animal products or by-products, and no mineral oil.

We have an awesome eye cream in our anti-aging line. This is the product that got me into the business. I've tried other eye creams from other major companies and off the internet but they never worked. I have hard dark circles around my eyes all my life. Was teased as a kid called Ricky the Raccoon. They are due to allergies, stress and being tired. This product is the only one that has ever made any sort of difference.

If you'd like to try a sample, I'd love to send you one or get together and give you a facial.

We also have a natural hormone balancing cream that has helped some people who have issues with their thyroid problems.

Please feel free to check out my website at http://www.atterberrynation.myarbonne.com. Also, if you don't mind sending me your email address, I'll send you some before and after pics.

Take care and God bless!

Monica

Hi Alexis,
I am an Independent Distributor too! LOL! I have a skincare system, but with you I am wondering if the problem could have to do with seasonal allergies. Often allergies can cause those circles under your eyes. Think it is possible? You may need to treat the allergies with supplements, meds, or remove something fromt he house, etc...

Just a thought!
Good Luck,
Patty

Are you seeking treatment for your thyroid problem? It affects all areas of your body, not just your sleep. I would suggest seeing a dr. if you aren't. Also, working on your sleep issues. It may mean taking a sleep aid like Melatonin. As far as appearance, I've heard of tea bags - cold, wet tea bags help and cucumber slices for inflamation. Also, you didn't mention if you are taking any medications. Any chance you are taking steroids? Definately make sure you are being monitored by a dr. preferably an endocrinologist. Good luck

Amanda

There are numerous ways you can attempt to get rid of dark under eye circles. However, to effectively remove lines and wrinkles, darkish circles and bags from close to your eyes, you should utilize the very best components and the most advanced technology in skin care products.
I would recommend the Eyelastin because it is clinically proven and completely organic product to work and contains many unique features, including patent Nanoderm Technology. Eyelastin is manufactured by Dermagevity Skin Care which is based on the invention of product formulations that will harness scientifically verified ingredients and innovative delivery methods that reduce the presence dark under eye circles as well as accelerate the particular recovery of typical beauty imperfections.

When dark shadows or bags linger, the cause typically is not something temporary, like a few too many cocktails. It might be something you’ve inherited.Makeup can help conceal dark circles. Hiding dark circles with concealer is simpler than you may think, but these fixes are less successful when the dark circles are caused by extremely thin skin. That’s really difficult to treat which is true and eye creams that contain caffeine may help a bit because they constrict the underlying blood vessels.
