I am a catholic and my husband is a baptist. I was raised hard-core to the catholic rules, but was not married in a catholic church. Does anyone know if it is still possible to get my child baptized as a catholic even though I was not married in the church? I'm soooooo new to the area and don't even know where a church is to go and ask someone! Any ideas would be helpful! thank you!

Congrats! The first baby always brings up questions. It truly changes everything. I will respond with bringing up another point to consider first. What church will you and your husband raise your children in? I would advise answering this question first and then following that churches understanding of the scriptures. Finding tha answer to the question of which church will be very benificial for your future and your children's. Seek the Lord's answer in this. I am sure between now and July you both will have time to visit churches, pastors. friends and make a great desicion!
