April - I've found that I get some really good ideas from different home magazines and the booklets that stores like Lowes and Home Depot offer in their paint / decorating area. One of the most inexpensive ways to decorate / freshen up a room would be to paint it a color you really like - not white. There are several paint techniques that can add a lot of piGet some new sofa pillows and/or floor pillows and/or a few things that accent your new wall color. Inexpensive prints at several online stores are also good. You can buy the print and then frame it yourself with frames from Hobby Lobby or Garden Ridge. Hobby Lobby is also really good for knick-knacks and such... they have great sales. Good luck. Christie
