side dish--corn pudding casserole (i make this alot on holidays)
Recipe for corn pudding casserole:
2- 1 lb cans cream corn
2- l lb cans whole kernal corn
1 sick butter
1/2 cup self rising flour
1 cup milk
4 eggs
salt to taste
directions:
1. mix flour and eggs (mix well)
2. heat butter and milk
3. mix butter and milk with corns
4. mix all ingredients together and stir well
5. put in a 2 quart casserole dish and bake at 350 for 45 minutes.

1 or 2 packs of little smokies (they are usually by the hot dogs, or keilbassa sausages.) they are little tiny sausage looking hot dogs.
and a package or 2 of the cresants you get in the canned bisquit section.
take the creseant and unroll and you can take one trangle of the cresant and usually cut into three pieces so it will do 3 little smokies.
wrap a piece of the cresant dough around a little smokie and lay them on a pam sprayed cookie sheet.when all done bake until golden brown. serve with a spicey mustard of some sort.
side dish: sweet potatoe casserole:
2 lb can sweet potatoes
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 can (8 oz) crushed pineapples
1 tlbs. packed brown sugar
1 tlbs. butter or margarine
1 tsp. water
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 1/2 cups minute marshmellows
1/4 cup chopped pecans
directions:
mash together sweet potatoes, brown sugar, 1/4 cup melted butter and salt.mash till no lumps remain.mix in the pineapples.
microwave for 2 minutes. stir and set aside.
in a small microwavable bowl mix 1 tlbs. brown sugar, 1 tlbs. butter, water, cinnimon, nutmeg, microwave 1- 1 1/2 minutes, stir at 1/2 time. add marshmellows and microwave 2 to 2 minutes. put on top of sweet potatoes. then sprinkel with pecans. heat in microwave if necessary to get potatoes warm.
