We haven’t been to Georgetown (DC) in a while, want to have a nice but casual dinner experience with our three kids (ages 10-14). Any suggestions? TIA
@steph_65 A family friendly restaurant in Georgetown that is casual is The Tombs. https://www.tombs.com/ It tends to be crowded and noisier so you don’t have to worry about having super quiet children. The menu has child friendly options. Lots of university students there and it can be crowded.
I can’t help you with restaurants, but for an amazing treat, check out Baked & Wired at 052 Thomas Jefferson St NW for serious & decadent cupcakes and other baked goods. Do not go after you’ve had a regular meal because you won’t have room, but these are incredible and oversized baked treats. Don’t let the line deter you unless it’s 25 degrees - it does move along. You have time in line to look in the display cases during your wait, but push everyone to make a decision before you get to the moment of ordering!
The Tombs looks great, and cozy! Will check it out. Thank you!
Thank you! I’ve heard of it but have never been. It will be hard to choose between Baked and Wired and Georgetown cupcake!
