I am wondering if I could get pregnant 2 days after having my cycle? We where on vacation and did not use protection. If we are pregnant that would be great, but i am just wondering if anyone has ever gotten pregnant so early after their cycle????
If you normally have a pretty short cycle it is very possible. Have you ever heard of the book, "Taking Charge Of Your Furtility"? Great book and it would answer a lot of your questions about your body's cycles and much more.
.tasha.
Yes. It happened to me. I can't remember the day span but it happened during the "safe" time if we had been using natural birth control.
yes it happened to me when I had my fifth son I had just gotten over my period a few days earlier and got pregnant
Yep. Very Possible. It happened to me on my third.
It all depends on the length of your cycle and regularity. My cycle is pretty consistent, usually around 28 days. I ovulated about the 14th day. So for me, that would probably not occur.
yep...that's how i conceived.
I believe you ovulate right after your cycle and the girl sperm can last up to five days. On the safe side I would avoid stuff you shouldn't take while prgenant. Dollar store sells pregnacy tests. Good luck.
Yes. I got pregnant with my fourth son on the tenth day of my cycle, just two days after my period stopped. What a surprise to us! We are now blessed with a precious, almost 6-month-old little angel! :-)
You've gotten a lot of "yes" answers, and it's definately possible, but it really depends on you. My thought is "Anytime you're sexually active you have the possibility of getting pregnant." I'm extremely regular and pretty fertile, apparently-gotten preg once on accident, once and had an ectopic miscarriage, and the third time on purpose. My hubby and I, even when we were dating, didn't always use condoms, and never for the first 5 days after my period ended and I never got pregnant. The accidental pregnancy was on the 7th day, and I just wasn't paying attention. We've been sexually active for over 5 1/2 years and that method has always worked for us.
If you are pregnant - Congratulations!!! And yes, you can get pregnant that soon.
Usually a woman ovulates about 14 (or so) days after the first day of her period. Then 14 days later you have another period, if you are not pregnant. That is based on a 28 day cycle. But everyone is different and cycles vary. It is important to follow ovulation and not your period - that is the difference between the "Rhythm Method" of old and Natural Family Planning of today. You can't get pregnant without ovulation (when the egg is released). Sperm lives for about 72 hours. So you could have sex on the 12th day of your cycle and the sperm can live until the 15th day when you ovulate. When you ovulate there is discharge (mucus) and that helps the sperm move up the vaginal walls, into the cervix and beyond! As long as there is mucus, you can get pregnant. If you are trying to avoid pregnancy, it is best to wait at least 4 days after you ovulate and there are no signs of mucus. There are different ways to know when you ovulate. I think the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" as someone else mentioned, describes the signs to look for.
Take care!!
